Last Saturday, May 4th, Travis and Jennifer were married at the Golden Sands Club Condominium in Ocean City, Maryland.  I first met this fun couple last summer when I shot their engagement photos and I was invited to capture their big day.  The scene was set for a beautiful sunset ceremony.  Even though it was very windy and a little chilly, the bride and groom basked in the warmth of the sun and came prepared for the strong rays with their matching wayfarer sunglasses.  The adorable flower girl might just be a future photographer! She insisted on having her turn behind the big lens to take pictures of the bride.  The indoor reception followed and everyone was on the dance floor! I couldn't help but take notice of their comfy and stylish matching footwear.  Jennifer definitely didn't forget her something blue!

Distributing copies of Inside Ocean City

When visitors stay at a hotel in Ocean City, MD they will most likely find a copy of Inside Ocean City in their room.  Inside Ocean City is an entertainment guidebook for beach goers that showcases local businesses as well as our eclectic photography.  Last Thursday, Susan Jones, Amy Tingle, Sandy Phillips and I distributed copies of the 2013 edition of the book to over 8200 rooms of various Ocean City hotels.  Sandy Phillips is the publisher and owner of Inside Ocean City.  Susan Jones and Amy Tingle represent the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association.

My uncle Kyle took us on a hike over fallen down branches and through the woods to the coolest spot to take pictures of my family! I even got to bring my dog Hilo! (He-lo) We got to wear fun hats and I got my picture taken in a giant fallen tree with lots of yellow and orange leaves! I held my baby brother's hand because he's little and needed my help. We laughed and had lots of fun! Uncle Kyle even gave me a secret stash of candy afterwards. Shhh! Don't tell my mommy!"

Lindsey & Luke's Wedding

Who would have thought that the third time would be the charm? Lindsey grew up next to Luke's uncles house, then later on she babysat some of the kids in his extended family, then they would once again reconnect through Facebook!! Sounds like some sort of movie script! Lindsey has been a good friend of mine for some time now and I was so excited to be able to shoot her wedding! At first I thought that we were not going to make it there! We were unable to fly due to the thunderstorms that were in the forecast and had to at the last minute decide to make the 6 hour drive; but it was all well worth it. They had a traditional catholic church wedding, and their reception at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort. Their transportation for the day was her uncle's Model A!! We had the absolute best portrait session before the reception started. Starting at scenic overlook, then on to the top of the mountain, then onto the ski lifts at the lodge, and finally onto the golf course for some fun pics!! We didn't stay long for the reception due to the 3 hours that we spent taking the portraits, and we got some amazing portraits!! Congratulations again to Luke & Lindsey!!

Jessica and Kevin Wedding

This past Friday night I shot a beautiful sunset ceremony at Ocean City Golf and Yacht Club . Jessica and Kevin had a great evening for their wedding. We started in historic downtown Berlin, where the bride grew up. We got some amazing images at the Atlantic Hotel and continued to the golf course. As the sun was setting the two exchanged vows. It really was a perfect night. I wish them both the best of luck as they start their new life together. 

Ryan & Caroline's Wedding

Last Saturday we flew to Charlottesville, VA for my cousin's Ryan's wedding. We arrive at the wedding venue, Pippin Hill Farms and were greeted with the most breath-taking view. The bride looked gorgeous and she got ready in the loft of the redone-modern barn. The ceremony took place at sunset, with the mountains in the picturesque background. The reception was a blast, with everyone out on the dance floor for most of the night. Congratulations Ryan and Carloline, it was a beautiful wedding.
