Harrison's Harbor Watch

Last Wednesday, June 26th I had the privilege of getting to uncover the delicacies of Harrison's Harbor Watch Restaurant located at the farthest end of the boardwalk at the Ocean City inlet.  This shoot features the highest quality seafood ready for its closeup.  The display was so mouthwatering I couldn't wait to dive in and devour this food.  A true feast for the eyes, take your pick from mini crab cakes, raw oysters, seared ahi tuna and U 12 shrimp, roughly 12 shrimp in a pound, almost the size of baby lobsters!  Don't miss out on getting to experience this wondering dining experience this summer.

Take a look at the image below.  Where am I?  Perhaps some hidden, undiscovered valley in Colorado or a plain in the Midwest?.......Nope.  Just another gorgeous day at the Nassau Valley Vineyards right here in Lewes, Delaware.  Who wouldn't want to have their reception here? Erin and Rob of Berlin were married last Saturday, June 15th in a ceremony at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Ocean City.  The bride's parents were also married in this very church almost 35 years ago to the day which made it that much more significant and meaningful for her and her family.  My day started at the Atlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth Beach where I captured the Bridal party getting ready.  The ceremony followed and then everyone headed over to the Vineyards for cocktail hour and the grand reception.  I genuinely had an enjoyable time getting to play around on these beautiful grounds.

Erin and Adam Engagement

I try to go bike riding at least once a week with my friends Erin and Adam.  We ride between West Ocean City and Berlin and go for 20-30 miles sometimes.  They recently became engaged and will be getting married in the fall in Ocean City.  They met each other at pharmacy school and now that they've set the date they asked me to shoot their engagement session.  So last Tuesday they decided to go to Assateague for a private, casual atmosphere.  Several photos showcase the marshes and the bayside and we finished up on the beach.

Kelly's Cookbook

I spent an afternoon with my sister, Kelly, who not only is a published author but is also a Holistic Health Coach and Raw Food Chef who lives in Berlin.  This was a photo session for her second book; her first cookbook.  I can't wait to see the rich hues and colors from these images burst onto the pages and bring her recipe book to life!  I had a blast and I couldn't be more proud of her and all that she's accomplished. Grab a copy from her new website www.farmfoodiefitness.com or find her on Facebook. www.facebook.com/farmfoodiefitness. And don't forget to check out her first novel, The Road to Chianti by Kelly Hughes Roberts.

(This pic was the most fun! Horsing around pretending the tomato was a football-
didn't turn out to look much like a football. So we concluded it was a toxic GMO tomato instead!)

Alison and Daniel- Lighthouse Sound

Last Wednesday May 22nd, I headed over to Lighthouse Sound, in Bishopville, where I met Alison and Daniel.  Alison and Daniel were married in a beautiful sunset ceremony.  Many couples want to be surrounded by the crisp blue ocean of the beach but they opted for the vast lush green backdrop view of the bay.  Simple and small, the most intimate of wedding parties can also be the most enjoyable and memorable.  The bride sparkled in her dress which contained a radiant neck piece that could've been a necklace all on its own.  Thank you Barefoot Bride for creating such an elegant, classy, and unique affair.

Katie and David's Wedding-Sunset Park

15 days until Memorial Day weekend and the summer wedding season is officially off to a great start! This past Saturday, May 11th, I headed over to Sunset Park located in downtown Ocean City for Katie and David's wedding.  Katie and David came from Arlington to experience their unforgettable big day at the beach.  It was a short and intimate ceremony that included the couple's pug Petunia! The day started out cloudy and stormy but luckily by the afternoon the skies cleared and it warmed up so it was the perfect opportunity for some fun on the boardwalk.  We got to play games at Can Alley and I got some great shots as they braved the Tilt a Whirl ride!  The reception soon followed at Harbor Watch where the small congregation of friends and family cheerfully greeted the new couple.

Cocktail Party: The Photo Booth

A fun and relaxing time was had by all as the day wore on.  The cocktail party followed and attendees could not get enough of the photo booth!  The photo booth was set up in the the largest private portrait room in the back and from my observation, when the photographer is absent, all silliness ensues.  Crazy hats, glasses and other props or just plain goofy poses we hope you enjoy viewing these shots.   In the main entrance/lobby there was a drawing to win a $500 Print Credit (a free photo session).  Congratulations to Madalaine How, our winner!  People mingled and sipped away on refreshments as they toured the various gallery rooms.

Thanks to all who came yesterday! I had a great time!
